Back to the railway

Well, after a couple of weeks gap, I've been back at the railway, dodging in between the downpours of rain.  While I was away, they erected the signal, bits of which were seen in previous posts. It looks good.

The old disk signal taken out has a worn out spindle.























Meanwhile, on the main line, resignalling carries on apace.  What a monster just to carry 2 colour lights!   Apparently it's standard in case the line ever gets electrified. In their dreams!
